It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Painter Jr. of Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dilmos Franklin Painter, Sr. and Vola Cobb Painter. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Painter; his children, Christi P. Smallwood (Ben) and David F. Painter (Tammy); and his grandsons, Dawson F. Painter (Bonnie) and Justin L. Painter.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be sent to Liberty Baptist Church, a gesture honoring Franklin's commitment to his faith and community.
