He was predeceased by: his wife Beadie Gail Tucker Harris; and his parents, C. W. Harris and I. B. Harris. He is survived by: his children, Carla Harris, Amy McGuire (Chris) and Eric Harris; his grandchildren, Courtney "Brett" Hooper, Christopher John McGuire II, Corey Cale Hooper, Elijah Tate McGuire and Noah Rane McGuire; his siblings, Eloise Hatley, Ceretha "Nancy" Gary (Gerald) and Tina Jordan; and his cousin Tony Cassels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little Branch Cemetery.
