He was predeceased by : his parents, Claud Snellings and Mae Bell Snellings; and his brothers, Howard Snellings and Aaron Snellings. He is survived by : his wife Martha Snellings; and his children, Jerry Neal Snellings (Pattie), Michael Snellings (Donna), Barry Snellings, Thomas Snellings (Belinda) and Teresa Stallings (Gene). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
