He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Alameda Lakita Walker Woods; his stepmother Pauline Woods; his daughters, Louanne Germany and Deeanna Williams; his granddaughter Amber Abney; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Baker and Doug Bearden (Nancy).
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Minor Peppers Woods; his daughters, Malinda Harris (Jeff), Regina Gregory (Larry "Sam") and Bridget Massey (Sidney); and his grandchildren, Jessica Hammett, Eric Hammett (Lukita), Aaron Garrison, Danielle Young (Steven), Seth Garrison, Andrea Moore (Zachary), Ryan Scott, Clay Massey (Courtney) and Cody Massey. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Brasher's Chapel Church or Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County in honor of Dan's memory.
