He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. "Tip" Amos and Sue Anderson Amos. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Dye Amos; his sons, John Amos (Jennifer) and Griffin Amos (Erika); his brother Harry Amos; his grandchildren, Josiee, Addie, Rhett and Finn; and his pet Rosie.
