It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Phillips of Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Phillips and Patsy Taylor Phillips; and his grandparents, Rev. Pat, Odene Taylor, E. C and Willie Belle Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Young Phillips of Albertville; his sons, Anthony (Sara Phillips) and Andrew Phillips of Albertville; his granddaughters, Callaway Phillips and Berkeley Phillips; his siblings, Tanya Rosenbauer (Jeff) and Tony Phillips (Teresa); his mother-in-law Marlene Young of Boaz; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Young and Melissa Young of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mcrae Funeral Home (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957).
