He is survived by: his sons, Randy Ferguson (Missy) and Jerremy Ferguson (Mary Helen); his grandchildren, Jessica Simmons (Rickey), Anna Beth Thomason (Randy) and Drew Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Simmons, Madison Simmons, Trey Simmons, Christian Simmons, William Thomason, Wesley Thomason and Charlie Thomason; his nephews, Lebron Ferguson (Martha), Kevin Ferguson (Allison) and Russell Ferguson; and his close friend Faye Garner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Memory Hill Cemetery (5975 US-431, Attalla, AL 35950).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice in memory of Lamon.
