She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Artis and Alta Louise Artis; and her daughter Melissa Murphree. She is survived by: her daughters, Jamie Miller (Jeremy) and Stephanie Morrison; her siblings, Wilma Artis, Carolyn Tripp (John L.), Martha Priven (Bill) and J. T. Artis; her grandchildren, Brittany Lee (Robert) and Kinley Morrison; her great grandchild Malachi Lee; and her aunt Jewel Maddox (Joe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
