She was predeceased by : her husband George Young; her granddaughter Kristin Young Thompson; and her parents, Bleauford Harrell and Margie Harrell. She is survived by : her children, Rickey Young (Beverly), Greg Young (Mona) and Donna Barnes (Roland). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Marshall Memorial Gardens (3364 AL-205 N, Albertville, AL 35950).
