He is survived by: his children, Chris Meeks (Mary), Tim Meeks of Centre, Kelli Meeks Patterson (Kevin) and Karla Stewart (Todd); and his sisters, Barbara Benefield of Ivalee, Sonja Beddingfield of Rainbow City and Anita Grey of Gadsden. He is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
