He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Samuel and Jean Jones Adams. He is survived by: his wife Florence "Cooter" Butler-Adams of Albertville; his children, Richard (Jessica Adams), Eric (Carrie Butler), Selena Angles of Albertville and Melissa (Mark Sims); and his sister Beth (Rick Adams-Brown). He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mcrae Funeral Home (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to Albertville Methodist Church.
