She was predeceased by : her brother Norman Johnson. She is survived by : her parents, Floyd Johnson and Della Johnson; her husband J. W. Ford; her children, Jay Ford (Christian) and Wendy Walters; her grandchildren, Lexi Grace Ford, Emma Caroline Ford, Olivia Kate Ford and Kyle Walters; and her brother Vick Johnson (Barbara). She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
