He was predeceased by: his parents, Arrol May and Loucile Harper May; his brothers, Roy May and Larry May; and his grandparents, Lillan May (Mamagoney), Ollie and Grace Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hatley May of Albertville; his daughters, Michelle Bethune (Kerry) and Kym Crane (Gregory); his grandchildren, Bradley Bethune (Amber), Camron Bethune, Will Bethune, Claira Crane Ordner (Colin) and Chelsea Reeves (JR); his great grandchild Benjamin Bethune; his sisters, Nina Lathan and Joyce Pendergrass; his aunt Maretha Millican; his uncle Ray Harper; and his caregiver Cindy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a charity of choice or the Alzheimer's Association, Wounded Warriors, Tunnel To Towers or Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Albertville.
