She was predeceased by: her parents, Obie Fuller and Cora Tidwell; her grandson Alec Hooks; and her brother Verlin Tidwell. She is survived by: her husband David Randall Hooks; her children, James Carey (Brandon), Jeffrey Hooks (Cam), Michael Hooks (Hollie) and Shasta Brown (Ben); and her sisters, Marie Brown (Lynn) and Donna James (Don).
