James A. Roy Obituary
The passing of James A. Roy (Alexander City, Alabama) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roy and Rachel Houlton McCue; his stepfather James F. McCue; and his former wife Sally F. Roy. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McNulty Roy; his children, Steve Roy (Traci), John Roy (Jane) and Jodie Roy Haynes; and his grandchildren, Ashley Spellerberg (Joey), Katherine Stanley (Michael), Dr. David Roy (Kelly), Andrew Roy (Laura), Rachel Merten (Tim), Anna Schenck (Matt), Jenni Roy and Ryan Haynes. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; his extended family, brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Episcopal Church (347 S Central Ave, Alexander City, AL 35010).
