He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Sanders and Ettie Taylor Sanders; his brothers, Morgan Sanders, Roy Sanders and James Sanders; and his grandson William Bishop, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Sally Rebecca "Becky" Sanders; his daughter Lori Jenkins (Shea); his grandchildren, Khrystal Linholm (Zack), Megan Brown (Eddie) and William Bishop, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Adeline Rose Linholm, Eli Linholm, Knight Linholm, Amelia Linholm, Zoey Bishop, James Brown and Emma Brown; and his sisters, Patricia Sanders Sides and Mary Sanders Luster (Jimmy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
