She was predeceased by: her parents, Cole Carlisle and Alva Carlisle; her husband Bobby Lynn Nelson; her sons, Bobby Leonard Nelson, Terry Lynn Nelson and Lewis Cole Nelson; and her sisters, Dorothy Yarbrough and Sue Whaley.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Nelson Ballard (Wesley); her grandchildren, Jessica Ozgowicz (Ray), Brittany Powell (Reese), Lauren Queen (Will), Brooke Nicole Ballard, Gabrielle Lexus Nelson and Nathan Cole Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Evan Ozgowicz, Nick, Luke, Hank Queen, Troy and Courtney Powell.
