We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 84, Kenneth Martin Melton of Alexander City, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Olney Anderson Melton; his siblings, Dean Jackson (Sonny), Donald Melton (Lottie), Ronnie Melton and Nellie Tyler (David); and his parents, Paul Jerome Melton and Ada Ruth Bentley Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Melton; his sons, Kenneth Olney'Kenny" Melton (Samantha), John Bartlett "Bart" Crowe and Lea Anna Meadows; his grandchildren, Kenneth "O. J." Melton, Jr., Lauren Ruth Bryan (Jason), Courtney Crowe Flournoy (Tyler) and Dustin Ray Hammonds (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Analeigh Grace Melton, Carly Cheyenne Melton, Cayden Lee Flournoy, Nicolas Taylor Flournoy, Kaylee Marie Flournoy, Hailey Danielle Hammonds and Asher Ray Hammonds.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillview Memorial Park (1926 Hillabee St, Alexander City, AL 35010).
