He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hill and Herd Odessa West Hill; his wife Billie Lee Hill; his daughter Sandra Sue Hill; and his grandson David McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Roger E. Hill (Diane), Richard C. Hill (Donna) and Linda Jo McDaniel; his grandchildren, Cindy Ann Gulledge, Jessica Diane Wright, Lisa Rena Griffies, Clate McDaniel, Brig McDaniel, Daisy Pike (Sawyer), Ragen Hawkins and Tina Kimbrell; his great grandchildren, Will Griffies, Alyssa Grace Wright, Alese Pike, Sandlin Pike and Sophie Kate Pike; and his great great grandchild Collier Sexton.
