It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorinza Knight of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Knight; her parents, William Bryant and Susie Browning Bryant; and her brothers, Rilance Bryant, Cranford Bryant, Cecil "Sausage" Bryant and Harold Bryant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Thornton (Eddie Hyder) of Mobile, AL and Bonita Calhoun (Dale) of Wetumpka, AL.; her grandchildren, Joe Thornton (Jennifer), Andrew Calhoun and Nicole Calhoun; and her great grandchildren, Timothy Thornton and Marianne Thornton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
