She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Henry Smith and Annie Walls Smith; her daughter-in-law Denise Kassel; and her siblings, Vera Moody, Yvonne Hicks, Flossie Nell Field, Mary Jo Coker, Carolyn Dymond, Bobby Smith, Cecil Hilliard Smith, James Smith and William Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Sheppard (William) of Shorter and Timothy Kassel of Longmont, CO; her grandchildren, Madison Ann Kassel and Michael Moore; and her sister Gail Smith Robbins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
