He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Nelson of Alexander City; his daughters, Rachael Elizabeth Hayes of Alpine and Elizabeth Brianna Alley of Alexander City; his grandchildren, Christian Hayes, Aiden Hayes, Rylan Hayes and Riverlynn Russell; his brothers, Ray Allen Nelson (Eddie) of Goodwater, Roy Nelson of Goodwater, Jack Nelson (Mona) of Goodwater and Donald Nelson (Carol) of Alexander City; his brothers-in-law, Louis Culver of Holtville and Billy W. Moore (April) of Alexander City; and his close friend Donnie Ray Marbury of Alexander City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
