With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Lashley of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Lorene Whaley and Willie Elton Lashley; his siblings, Douglas Lashley and Shirley Smelley; and his brother-in-law Roger Smelley.

He is survived by: his wife Amy Ray Lashley; his son Steven Lashley (Alyson); his granddaughters, Mady and Lola Lashley; his son David Lashley (Nacomi); his grandsons, Noah and Nash Lashley; his stepchildren, Megan Carlisle, Heather Fuller (Robert) and Jason Carlisle (Lori); and his sister-in-law Sharon Lashley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
