He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Funderburk Goodwin; his sons, Gary Lynn Goodwin (Tamara) and Gregory Michael Goodwin (Ginger); his grandsons, Caleb Trent Goodwin, Michael Brantley Goodwin and Braxton Locke Turner; and his sibling's children, Ginger, Kevin, Wes, Jeff, Sylvia, Stephen, Lauren, Christian, Clay, Clint, Lindsey, Misty, Jeremy and David.
