He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Arnel Thornton; and his sister Rhonda Lee Thornton. He is survived by: his mother Hilda Lee Lacey; his sons, Jerry Thornton (Brittany) and Lee Thornton (Allison); his grandchildren, Elijah, Caden, Avery Grace, Maddy, Ruby and Jaxton; his brother Richard Thornton (Teresa Terrell); and his pet Bubba.
