He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jackson "Jack" Meadows and Ruth Lee Cotney Meadows; his daughter Stacie Lana Meadows; his wife Linda Elizabeth Wilson Meadows; and his siblings, Samuel Meadows, Jacquellyn Storey and Mary Van Willoughby.
He is survived by: his son Sanford Lynn Meadows, Jr. (Tanya); his grandchildren, Tyler Daniel Meadows (Brooke) and Sydney Meadows Bowman (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Mary Ellis Bowman, Taysom Daniel Meadows and Robert Ford Bowman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
