She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Saunders and Louise Dark Saunders; her husband Charles Wiley Rush; and her brother Thomas Byron Saunders. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Anthony Harris (Dave) of Alexander City, AL and Ann "Dark" Rush (Jonathan Milan Pollock) of Canton, GA; and her grandchildren, Hillary Ann McCullough (Reid) of Sarasota, FL and Lillian Alexandra Harris of Alexander City, AL..

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Eye Research Foundations in Alabama or The Dementia Society of America.
