He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Butler; and his parents, Butler Britt and Elsie Britt. He is survived by: his sons, Stephan Butler (Kimberly) of Louisville and Jaime Butler (Paige) of Wetumpka, Alabama; his sisters, Patty Oliver, Brenda Forehand and Teena Blythe; and his grandchildren, Claire Durenberger (Matt), Jackson Butler (Tiffany) and Parker Butler.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stone Ridge Baptist Church (611 Airport Dr, Alexander City, AL 35010).
