Becky Thomas Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Becky Thomas, 82, of Alexandria, will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at United Fellowship Church starting at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Clay and Deacon Jimmy Stone will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service at United Fellowship Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas passed away on February 3, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Nellie Thomas; her brothers, Bubby Thomas and Ralph Thomas; her sister, Dorothy Graham; and her sisters-in-law, Emma Thomas and Carmen Thomas.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Allen Thomas; her children, Daryn Thomas and Shelly Steinberg; her grandchildren, Hayden Steinberg, Peyton Steinberg, Dustin Thomas (Ashley) and Courtney Hayes (T.J.); one great-grandchild, Annie Hayes; her sister, Norma Boyd; a special niece, Allison Brown; and several other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Thomas retired from Anniston Army Depot after 14 years of service. She also worked as a local model during her 20's and 30's. Mrs. Thomas was a member of United Fellowship Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening, and watching television. Her most favorite activity was spending time with her family while watching her grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends from United Fellowship Baptist Church.
