He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershell NeSmith and Minnie Mae Little NeSmith; and his sisters, Lisa NeSmith Warf and Carolyn Gorman. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Teri" Character NeSmith; and his children, Amanda M. Bailey and Steven Michael Phillips (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
