With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethelene Phillips Calhoun of Alexandria, Alabama, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter K. Phillips and Grace Phillips; her sister Geraldine Higgins; her nephew Tommy Higgins; and her brother-in-law Tim Bartos.

She is survived by : her husband Tommy Calhoun; her son Scott Calhoun (Christie); her grandchildren, Celia Calhoun and Bryson Calhoun; her siblings-in-law, Travis Higgins, Elaine Bartos and Vanessa Osborne (Howard); and her nephews, Tracy Higgins and Tony Higgins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Funeral Home (3865 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
