He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Young and Elizabeth Young; and his brother James Young. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Young; his children, Scott Young (Kellie), Shelia Borders (Glenn), Bill Cole (Denise) and Andy Cole (Heather); and his sister Barbara Ann McLeroy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Leatherwood Baptist Church (2709 Old Gadsden Hwy, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
