He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Jones; his parents, Ira Jones and Ola Mae Jones; and his brother Clarence Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jerri Haynes (Robert) and Shannon Jones (Ilah); his sisters, Carol Lucas and Judy Thomas (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Justin Jones, Jonathan Jones (Alex), James Rogers and Katy Briedenbauch (Brandon). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gray Brown Service Mortuary (1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
