It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bud Blakney of Aliceville, Alabama, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bud Blakney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lloyd Blakney and Grace Tate Blakney. He is survived by : his wife Frieda Turnipseed Blakney; his children, Brittney Ann Blakney, Brandi Leigh Blakney and James Frank Blakney (Penny); his siblings, Bobby Joe Blakney (Pat), Tommy Blakney (Jan) and Charlotte Lowery (Dale); and his grandson Jonathon Brett Blakney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery.
