It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Williams of Alma, Alabama, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry James "H. J." Foxx; his son Robert E. Williams Sr.; and his siblings, Archie, Joe Allen Foxx, Pearlie Jackson and Lue Reader Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorean Williams; his children, Larry Williams (Etta) of Gainestown, Clifford Williams (La Tisha) of Jackson, Felix Williams (Damaron) of Little Elm, Texas and Alixira Jackson (Elijah) of Heartland, Texas; his siblings, Ethel (Leo) of Gainestown, Alexander Foxx (Adline) of Dallas, Texas and Henry Foxx (Tina) of Dallas, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Walter Jackson (Lillie) of Gainestown, Jerry Jackson (Glenda) of Desoto, Texas, Corean Black of Thomasville, Gloria Foxx of Gainestown, Sellasteen Foxx of Gainestown and Lou Della Pugh (Jessie) of Toddtown; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Williams of Gainestown; and his uncles, Jefferson Williams of Gainestown and Jody Foxx of Gainestown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
