She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. "Bill" Martin and Bethel Mae Martin; her husband Carl Hyfield; her son Michael Hyfield; and her siblings, Anita Martin, Betty Johnson (Jack), Ralph Martin (Gladys), Donald Dutt (Lorene) and Dewey Elkins (Frances).
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Woody (Edmond); her grandchildren, Kerri Gilbreath (James), Bryan Neil Davis-Stanfield (Nathaniel), Dustin Hyfield and Melanie Ashley; her great grandchildren, Shawn, Jordan (Hannah), Cameron, Keira, Cody and Briana; and her great great grandchildren, Kylan, Wyatt and Arabella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Olive Cemetery Fund.
