He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moree and Iva Moree. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Fae Moree of Gadsden; his children, Ronald Moree, Tanja Moree, Keith Moree, Daniel Torrence, Stephen Moree, Melinda Moree and Elizabeth Sanders; his sister Bertha Moree Fussell; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Bird and Mary Danehower Higgins. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
