As Heather departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Heather. Though Heather may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Mendez; her parents, Frank Hooper and Connie Mendoza; and her grandmother Gaynell Gillespie. She is survived by: her children, Gabby Mendez, Emilio Mendez and Rogelio Hernandez; her siblings, Ken Hooper (Joy), Jennifer Hooper and Haley Driver (Josh); her uncle Johnny White (Dottie); and her siblings' children, Gracelin Moody and Dylan Driver.
