He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mote and Estelle Mote; his son Keith Mote; and his grandchildren, Jessica Mote and Ashlyn Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Mote; his children, Kenneth Mote Jr. (Carolyn) and Angela Mahaffey (Keith); his grandchildren, Brittany Mote (Russell Nicholson), MaKailey Lyons (Lucas) and Matt Bolton; his great grandchild Bryant Stevens; his grandchildren, Jaxon Whisenant, Crimson and Kensley Nicholson; and his siblings, Shirley Allen, Ernest Mote, Phillip Mote and Kathy Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
