It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hester of Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Clyde, Ora Mae Hester, William Kinard and Maedell Gardner Edgar. He is survived by: his parents, David Lewis Hester and Debra Sue Hester; his siblings, Samantha Brooks, Anna Worley and Benjamin Hester; and his nieces and nephews, Brady, Brantley, Shelby of Opp, Ella-Kate of Opp, Angel of Opp, Emma-Leigh of Opp and Heide of Opp.

When I think of our time together in 2002/2003 when I was an exchange student from Germany to Straughn High School, I always see his smiling face and I remember the sound of his laugh very well! He was one of my two best friends there. He was a wonderful and good guy!!! It must be so hard for you as his family that he has passed away. I’m very sorry and I wish you a lot of strength.
