We announce the death of Elizabeth Sasser (Andalusia, Alabama), who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 90. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her significant other Willie Sasser; her mother Gertrude Pate; her brothers, Aaron Pate, Doyle Pate and Ronnie Pate; her son-in-law Timmy Mullen; and her grandmother Liz.
She is survived by: her children, David Whitehurst (Vicky) of Andalusia, AL and Debbie Mullen of Madrid, AL; her granddaughters, Kayla Sheppard (Jeff), Sarah Beth Carpenter (Anthony) and Amy Hudspeth (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Sadie, Colton, Josiah, Jayden, Levi, Whitley, Cooper and Emersyn; and her sisters-in-law, Roberta Pate and Shirley Sasser.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel (1516 M L King Jr Expy, Andalusia, AL 36420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
