He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cannon; his children, Aaron Cannon (Mandy) and Amanda Griffith (John Thomas); his grandsons, Cole Cannon, John Fletcher Griffith, Merritt Griffith and John Steven Spivey; his brother James "Randy" Cannon (Teresa); and his mother Audrey Cannon.
