It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank M Hare of Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank M Hare to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Almer Van Buren Hare (AV) and Maude Virginia Chesser Hare; and his siblings, Betty Sue Kirby and Carlton Chesser Hare (Sonny). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Wanda McClellan Hare; his children, Ty Marlyn Hare (Scott), Jay Shannon Hare and Susan Hare Barnett; his grandchildren, Dustin Mitchell Hare (Ali) and Sydney Elizabeth Barnett (Carly); and his great grandchildren, Kari, Kylie, Brycen, Austin, Sadie and Gavin Hare. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chantilly House (402 S 3 Notch St, Andalusia, AL 36420).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
