He is survived by: his mother Edith Marie Pate; his sons, Tyler Eugene Pate and Anthony Aaron Wilhelm (Nitasha); his grandchildren, Cohen and Chandler; his sisters, Sandra Carr of Andalusia and Amanda Kaye Owen of Washington, DC; his siblings' children, Timothy Owen, Caleb Owen, Erica Bullard and C. J. Stokes; his aunt Cynthia; and his uncle Darrell Bozeman.
