He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Rogers Owens; his son Grady J. "Jerry"; his daughter-in-law Tammy Owens of Dillon, SC; his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Ron Yates; his grandchildren, Hillary K. Owens, Evan Yates (Hope), Abi Yates (Ethan Gobea) and Sarah Owens; his great grandchildren, Mattie Anne Yates, Lennon Kate Yates and Adam Gobea; and his grandson Larry Hobbs.
