She was predeceased by : her father Robert Hartz; her son Cody Hartz; her mother Carolyn Hartz; her grandson T. J. East, Jr.; and her great grandchild Chantelle DeShazo.

She is survived by : her husband David Scott Ferrell of Foley, AL; her daughter Alisha; her son-in-law Jason Ainsworth of Andalusia; her son Robert Boswell of Atmore, AL; her grandchildren, Chyenne Hooks, Angel East, Donna East and Jase Ainsworth; her siblings, Roberta Barnes, Richard Hartz of Red Level, AL and Reggie; and her sister-in-law Tracy Hartz of Red Level, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice in memory of Mrs. Helen Frances Ferrell.
