James Andrew Wingate Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Andrew Wingate of Andalusia, Alabama, born in Mansfield, Louisiana, who passed away on November 23, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Wingate and Roushia Wingate (Carmen P. Wingate); his children, Kenneth Wayne and Margaret Wingate; his brother Wayne; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Wingate.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Frazier Wingate; his children, James Douglas Wingate, Anne "Annie" Wingate and Kristen "Krissy" Murphey (John); his stepchildren, Chad Frazier (Marcela), Lauri Wyatt (Drew) and Kristen Frazier Percent; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Claire Murphey, Nicolas, Lucas Frazier, Mallory Wyatt, Siler and Juliana Percent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of the First Baptist Church of Andalusia, Campus Crusade for Christ International, and The Gideons International.
