He was predeceased by: his father Evon Williamson; and his sister Gayle Howell. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Williamson; his sister Jenny; his brother-in-law Bobby Owens of Dozier; and his nieces and nephews, Mickey Howell (Jennifer), Ben Howell (Jessica), Cooper Gillespie (Anna Leigh) and Amber Gillespie. He is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
