He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his brother Don Herbert Sasser; and his daughters, Mary Hope Sasser and Tammy Lynn Sasser. He is survived by: his sons, Jep Douglas Sasser, Jr. (Lisa) of Andalusia and Kenneth Lasseign (Deborah) of Brantley; and his sister Magdeline Petrey of California. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
