It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Brandon Givhan of Andalusia, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anderson and Claire Bell Givhan. He is survived by: his wife Martha James Givhan of Birmingham, AL.; his son John Anderson; his daughter-in-law Candy Givhan, II; his daughter Endsley Givhan Bolen; his grandchildren, John Bruce Bolen, James Calvin Watkins and Shelby Lynn Watkins; his brother-in-law Sonny James (Linda) of Fairhope; his niece Dr. Christy James Guepet of Fairhope, AL; his nephew Frank James of Oneonta, AL; his great-niece Ellie Guepet; and his great-nephew Matthew Guepet.

The family will accept flowers of memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
